As reported by OregonLive and other news sources, early on the morning of August 9 racist graffiti including swastikas, death threats and anti-Black epithets was discovered on the Sons of Haiti Masonic Temple on North Mississippi Avenue, as well as on nearby food carts. Graffiti left on a Black-owned food cart featured a crude image of a man being lynched. The identity of the graffitist is currently unknown.
